The Privatizations and Project Finance Practice Group has been involved in a number of privatizations of Korean government-controlled public corporations in several different sectors, including various high-profile transactions in the energy and banking sectors.  The Firm has provided its clients, including financial and strategic investors, with comprehensive advice in the structuring of these major transactions, and has also provided the full range of assistance in negotiating and documenting them according to the international standards required in a global market.

The Practice Group has also been active in project finance in Korea, an area which has seen considerable expansion in the past few years.  Areas of particular emphasis include project finance in relation to SOC projects, and domestic and overseas construction and power plant projects.  The Practice Group also has a well-developed practice in aircraft finance leases, leveraged leases and ship finance (lease, BBC, BBCHP).
